When Yara realized her passion for working closely with people, her interests in architecture & design and her love for the Nelson and Kootenay area could be combined into one career, becoming a Realtor was an obvious choice.

Yara believes in playing an active role in her community in order to lead a fuller life and to know and understand her neighbours. She has sat on many different non-profit boards and regularly supports community fundraising events and initiatives.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children out of doors where they can fully appreciate this beautiful area they live in. Snowboarding, cross-country skiing, hiking and yoga are a few of Yara's favorite hobbies.
